Miss Wisconsin Alexis Loomans And Girlfriend Of QB Graham Mertz Is The 2nd Runner Up In Miss USA 2023
On Friday night, Alexis Loomans, who is currently Miss Wisconsin and is also the girlfriend of Florida Gators quarterback Graham Mertz, narrowly missed becoming the new Miss USA.
She received the title of Miss Utah’s official second runner-up when she took first place. That’s third, for people who don’t know Miss USA terminology. I have no idea why it is called the second runner-up, but it is what it is.

We were all supporting Alexis this week in Reno because she has won our hearts over the past few weeks, especially when Mertz and the Gators defeated Tennessee earlier this month.
She was announced as a top-five finalist early on Friday and came dangerously close to shocking everyone before losing steam in the conclusion.

I, as well as David Hookstead, am sure, did not predict Wisconsin losing to Hawaii and Utah today. Take that, Hook.
But our gal Alexis Loomans made a hell of a performance. She has the nation’s attention and has brought honor to Florida Gators football and college sports in general.
We can only hope Graham Mertz and the Gators honor her this afternoon in Lexington. Kentucky was formerly owned by Florida, but things have kind of fallen apart lately.

Alexis, on the other hand, is probably going to return home with pride. In Reno, she persevered right to the finish and came very close to becoming the first Miss USA of College Football.
She ought to have no trouble sleeping tonight. We can only hope that later today, Graham and the boys don’t make matters worse.
