Minnesota Vikings Schedule 2022: Opponents, Dates, Times, TV Streams, and Final Record Predictions

The Minnesota Vikings’ 2021 season can best be summed up in one word: mediocre. There were indicators of a strong squad there; star-wideout Justin Jefferson improved on his outstanding 2020 campaign in 2021, gridding his way to 1,616 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns and a second consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl.

This season, Minnesota has new leadership. Kevin O’Connell, the former Rams offensive coordinator, has taken over as head coach in lieu of Mike Zimmer after eight seasons in that position. In addition to emerging talent Justin Jefferson at wideout, quarterback Kirk Cousins is returning for his fifth season leading the Vikings.

Minnesota Vikings final record prediction

In 2021, six of the teams the Vikings will play made the playoffs. Only the Bills managed to win a game in the 2022 playoffs among those teams. The Vikings’ 2022 opponents combined to go 139-148-2, enough for the 20th-highest winning percentage in the NFL (.484). The Vikings have a relatively easy schedule, but they still play a few playoff-bound opponents.

Despite showing some potential, the club lacks some of the experience that the Rodgers-led Packers have, making them seem like the second-best team in their division. We predict the Vikings to finish the season 9-8.
