Minnesota Vikings Pulled Off Epic Victory Over The Buffalo Bills, Left Them Questioning Everything

LeBron James himself has already referred to it as the “game of the year.” On Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings managed to upset the Buffalo Bills 33-30 in a thrilling game that went into overtime to determine the winner. This improved their record to 8-1.

The Bills were cruising to a victory in regulation time with leads of 27-10 after three quarters and 10 points with five minutes remaining in the fourth. However, mayhem erupted around them in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, and the loss dropped them to third place in the AFC East division.

And the frenetic energy from the stadium flowed over onto social media, where people used superlatives to try to sum up the game.

Minnesota Vikings Pulled Off Epic Victory Over The Buffalo Bills

“Vikings-Bills = best regular season game of the year. Maybe the decade. Maybe ever,” NFL website ProFootballTalk tweeted.

“*screams* THE VIKINGS ARE FOR REAL,” said former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III.

The NFL simply tweeted, “WINNESOTA VIKINGS.”

The Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings played the most spectacular closing two minutes of an NFL game this season. We then had overtime.

But the Vikings’ 33-30 win in overtime raises many doubts for the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills are not currently leading the AFC East. That is different at this point in the season, yes. They are seemingly tied for first place with the Dolphins (7-3), but in reality, Miami defeated Buffalo earlier this year, therefore South Florida holds the tiebreaker. Instead, the Bills are left with things that could have and should have been but weren’t. Because this team consistently struggles in the second half.

Additionally, quarterback Josh Allen’s ongoing difficulties. Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, suffered an elbow sprain in Buffalo’s loss to the New York Jets last week, prompting concerns about his health. However, by the time the game was through, those concerns had mostly faded into the background.

Allen did led his squad with 84 rushing yards while throwing for 330 yards. But in actuality, the Bills’ offensive resembles somewhat of a one-man show.

The performance also deviates when Allen is off or makes a mistake.

As a result, the Vikings were able to win their seventh game by a one-possession margin and raise their record to 8-1.

It almost makes one wonder what universe we’re in because this was not what anyone expected out of the 2022 NFL season in mid November.
