Minnesota Vikings Preseason 2022: Full Schedule, Fixtures and Live Stream Details

Fans of the Minnesota Vikings now know when they can expect to see the new squad play for the first time this season. All 32 clubs’ preseason schedules were revealed by the NFL on Tuesday. There are one home game and two away for the Vikings.

For NFL fans, the preseason is often not a particularly exciting time. Although the majority of casual fans don’t start paying attention until the start of the regular season, there is still a lot that can be discovered about the Minnesota Vikings during the preseason, making it a must-see for many fans. Kevin O’Connell, the new head coach, will get his first opportunity to perform in a real game during the preseason. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, a new general manager, was also hired by the organization this offseason.

How did the Minnesota Vikings fare last season?

Everyone is perfectly aware of how badly the Minnesota Vikings struggled in most of their games last season in the final minutes of each half. In the last four minutes of the second and fourth quarters in 2021, only 5% of Minnesota’s offensive possessions resulted in a touchdown. Under the NFL last season, this was the third-worst touchdown percentage in certain circumstances.

The Vikings struggled to keep their opponents out of the end zone at the conclusion of each half in 2021, and their offense also struggled to score in these scenarios.

Minnesota Vikings Preseason 2022 Fixture

The Vikings and Raiders will meet in Las Vegas on Sunday, August 14. On Saturday, August 20, they will host the San Francisco 49ers. On Saturday, August 27, in Denver, they will play their last preseason game against the Broncos.

The Vikings will have a nice challenge in each of these contests. Getting a sense of some of the new roster additions as well as some of the habits of the new staff in each of the three games may give some insight as to how the regular season may proceed, even though two of the three games are on the road and both of them are a healthy trip to the west.
