Mike Vrabel Grills Tom Brady Ahead Of Patriots Hall Of Fame Ceremony
When Mike Vrabel and Dante Scarneccia are honored in the Patriots Hall of Fame on Saturday, there will undoubtedly be a significant number of New England alumni there.
Tom Brady won’t be among them, I promise.
Speaking on 98.5 The Sports Hub on Friday, Vrabel stated that he did not anticipate the future Hall of Fame quarterback being present at the event. He also took advantage of the occasion to make some remarks disparaging Brady.

During an appearance on Boston radio station 98.5 The Sports Hub on Friday, Vrabel said of Brady, “I’m guessing that means he won’t be able to attend.” Mason of MassLive reports that Vrabel texted Brady to congratulate him. “He probably has some cosmetic event planned and won’t be able to make it on Saturday morning.”
I texted him and said, ‘Remember when you used to be ruthless and it was just all that crap talking back and forth?'” Vrabel added about Brady. “That’s just why we loved to come to practice every day and work. Guys would be on the show team and talking back and forth and just competing and practicing. ‘When did you change?’ I asked.
"He probably has some cosmetic event planned."

Between 2001 to the 2008 season, Vrabel and Brady were teammates with New England, and during that time, they contributed to three Super Bowl victories for the club.
More recently, there have been rumors that Brady missed 11 games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in August 2022 due to cosmetic or plastic surgery. Brady and Gisele Bündchen divorced in 2013; it’s now thought that this was the real reason for Brady’s break and his look at the time.

Next summer, Brady will have his own Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony. Last month, Robert Kraft, the club’s owner, declared that Brady will be inducted on June 12, 2024, after the organization waived the traditional four-year waiting period.
To be honest, even after a second and “for good” retirement from the game, Brady is still pretty active. In addition to training to become Fox’s chief NFL commentator come season, he’s trying to buy a small ownership in the Las Vegas Raiders during football Sundays.
