Michigan Team Paying Tribute To Their Suspended Coach Jim Harbaugh Did Not Sit Well With The Fans
Even though Michigan’s head coach Jim Harbaugh would not be there for the game against East Carolina on Saturday, the Wolverines’ players made sure to thank him right away.
Harbaugh was given a three-game suspension by the Michigan Wolverines after it was claimed that he violated NCAA regulations by holding Zoom meetings with prospects during the COVID-19 outbreak. For the three games he will miss, Harbaugh, who has refuted the accusations, has selected four different temporary head coaches.

For saying what the NCAA determined to be misleading claims during an investigation into potential recruiting infractions that allegedly took place during the COVID-19 pandemic dead period, Harbaugh will be punished for the first three games of the regular season.
The Michigan team lined up in a straight formation and held up four fingers, which was coach Jim Harbaugh’s playing number, as they faced East Carolina in the season opener.

All eleven Wolverine offensive players lined up in a single file formation before the following play in Saturday’s game against the Pirates, raising four fingers in honor of their head coach. When Harbaugh played for the Wolverines in the 1980s, he sported No. 4. It was just one of the numerous ways Michigan players have been thinking about Harbaugh despite his absence.

J.J. McCarthy, the quarterback for the Wolverines, came out of the team bus wearing a “Free Harbaugh” T-shirt before the game on Saturday. Additionally, he wore it throughout Michigan’s warm-ups on the field.
Well, that did not sit well with the fans and they mocked the players on Twitter.
