Mets Edwin Diaz walkout song : Timmy Trumpet plays “Narco” Live At Citi Field
Drums that are slow and steady at the beginning of the song let the spectators know who is about to come out of the bullpen. The crowd is already up when the trumpet sound starts. Yes, we are addressing the opening song Edwin Diaz loves to play, which was sung live by Timmy Trumpet himself.

Edwin Diaz started playing “Narco” as his introduction music in Seattle in 2018 and brought it back with the Mets in 2020. This month, “Narco” topped Spotify’s Viral 50 chart.
Dáz has developed into the most effective closer in the majors this season, throwing fastballs at 100 mph, 97 strikeouts in 49 1/3 innings, 28 saves, and a 1.46 ERA.
His appealing entrance tune is a significant component of his mystique. As Daz warms up, “Narco” ignites a two-minute fiesta around Citi Field, helped along by mascots Mr and Mrs Met and spectators acting as trumpet players.

The player’s dream came true when he got to hear his favourite entrance song being played live during his warm-up!
Timmy Trumpet, an Australian singer who collaborated with Dutch duo Blasterjaxx to produce the immensely popular “Narco” that Dáz plays as his entrance song, would be at the field for a game next week, the NL East-leading Mets said on Wednesday. The fans were super excited about this event, and when it happened, the entire stadium was electrified!
Citi Field didn't hear the trumpets tonight until Edwin Díaz reached the mound because promos were running:

Diaz recollects, “When I was in Seattle, they picked that song for me. I liked it. And when I got here, I changed it. My wife told me to put that song (on) again. People will love it.” Today the fans are going crazy for this connection he shares to the song!
The event lived up to the anticipation. The Dodgers were retired in order by Diaz, giving the Mets a 2-1 victory. Trumpet departed the ballpark after the Mets won in order to catch a flight to Singapore, but Diaz said the Australian singer might come back to Queens this season.
