“McNuggets Is Always Trying to Talk Shit About Me & My Agents”- Tony Ferguson Hits Back at Conor McGregor in His Latest Tweet Defending His Management Company

Tony Ferguson took on Michael Chandler at UFC 274 in what was billed as a must-see fight. The fight between ‘Iron’ and ‘El Cucuy’ lived up to all the hype it had garnered as the two men provided an action-packed first round. In the second round, however, Chandler delivered one of the most devastating knockouts in the UFC with a brutal front kick knockout of Tony Ferguson.

The loss against Chandler was Ferguson’s fourth straight loss. Following UFC 274, Conor McGregor took to bash Ferguson. He said, “Tony Ferguson, who changes representation around 4 times a year, is saying it’s someone else fault he is in the position he is in. How many bridges do you burn before you look yourself in the mirror and say “maybe it’s me that’s the issue” God bless you pal, I’ll say a prayer.”

Ferguson was a part of Paradigm Sports, which also represents Conor McGregor. The former interim lightweight champion had a bitter falling out with the company and alleged that they do not serve their client’s best interests apart from Conor McGregor, which is why he felt the need to leave the company.

‘El Cucuy’ took to Twitter to respond to McGregor’s claims, saying, “Been away from Twitter for a sec. Came back to see McNuggets is always trying to talk shit about me & my agents. Truth is I have had the same agent since I left Paradigm. Only agency change was the 1 that didn’t live up to their Fiduciary Duties. No excuses Just facts- Champ.”

What is next for Tony Ferguson after a fourth straight loss?

Going into the fight against Chandler, the common consensus was that a fourth straight loss would mean the end of the road for Ferguson in the UFC. However, Dana White put an end to those speculations and stated that Ferguson is not fighting for his UFC career against Chandler.

Given that Ferguson was competitive in the first round against ‘Iron’ the UFC might decide to continue with ‘El Cucy’. However, it will not be surprising if the two parties decide to go their separate ways given Ferguson has been displeased with the treatment from the UFC and has made it very clear in recent press conferences.
