Marissa Lawrence Is “Glad To Be Surrounded” By Kind People Amid Her Husband Trevor Lawrence’s Injury
Following the ankle injury suffered by her husband Trevor Lawrence, Marissa Lawrence is “glad to be surrounded” by the “amazing” Jaguars community.
The wife of Jacksonville’s top quarterback, Lawrence, 24, published a post on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, highlighting a number of emotional messages the pair got following Lawrence’s (24), ankle injury sustained during Monday’s 34-31 overtime loss to the Bengals.

“Really overwhelmed by people’s kindness and love,” Marissa said. “Just wanted to share something positive and thank everyone truly for your prayers and support. Grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing people.”
Marissa, who has been married to Lawrence since April 2021, watched the Monday night game at Jacksonville’s EverBank Stadium in prime time.
Following a step on his ankle by offensive tackle Walker Little in the fourth quarter, Lawrence was forced to leave the game.
Lawrence had tried to get up, flung his helmet in exasperation, and collapsed to the ground after Little had been pushed back into him.
The game was subsequently turned over to backup quarterback C.J. Beathard, who completed 9 of 10 passes for 63 yards.
Lawrence has a high ankle sprain, which Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson revealed on Tuesday.

Lawrence, who the Jaguars have not ruled out for Week 14 against the Browns, stated, “Everything is stable, looks good,” according to Pederson.
“We’ll see how he is in a couple of days.”
With three seasons under his belt, Lawrence—the top overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft—has not missed a game owing to an injury.

This season, through 12 games, Trevor Lawrence has thrown for 3,004 yards, 14 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and four touchdowns on the ground.
With an 8-4 record, the Jaguars lead the AFC South and are the fourth seed in the conference playoffs.
Last season, Lawrence led the Jaguars to the postseason and they made it as far as the divisional round before losing to the Chiefs, who went on to win the Super Bowl.
