Marcus Smart’s Celtics Mates Turned His Marriage Into Their Re-Union Gathering Party

The pictures from the Celtics reunion that coincided with Marcus Smart’s wedding are just too nice.

The Grizzlies guard, who Boston moved to Memphis in a three-team deal for Kristaps Porzingis in June, Wed fiancée Maisa Hallum over the weekend in front of family, friends, and coaches who once played with him, according to Bleacher Report.

In pictures shared on social media, guard Derrick White, head coach Joe Mazzulla, general manager Brad Stevens, and Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck could all be seen having fun at the wedding. Forwards Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown also appeared to be having a good time.

In one photo, Tatum, Mazzulla, and Stevens were seen posing with their arms folded; in another, Tatum was smiling and holding out his arms; and in a third, Grousbeck was hugging his wife, Emilia Fazzalari.

In a post on Instagram on Saturday, Smart announced the marriage and posted images of the couple in two distinct wedding attire.

In a strapless black dress with a silver-adorned thigh-high slit as well as a stunning blue dress with a tiered tulle skirt, Hallum shone.

In a velvet jacket and an all-black suit with silver beading, Smart also looked sharp.

Smart revealed in a May exclusive interview with The Post how his proposal featured an alley-oop from Will Smith, a favorite actor of both Hallum and himself.
A video greeting from the Oscar winner, who was at the time in Antarctica for work, was shown to Hallum before Smart got down on one knee.
“We’re just coming back from the South Pole, but I just wanted to take a minute to wish you a very, very merry Christmas,” Smith in the video.

“Now, I know that you may not have gotten the stuff that you wanted. I promise you, you’re not going to end this Christmas empty-handed, OK? That’s just, that’s all my message is. That’s all my message is from Antarctica.”

When Hallum looked around, she first thought she was puzzled until she realized Smart had bowed to her.
