Luka Doncic & Kyrie Irving Play ‘Hot Potato’ In The Game Against Timberwolves

Before the deadline, Kyrie Irving was traded to the Mavs, sending the NBA world into a frenzy. Barely a week later, we already have a humorous incident involving these two All-NBA players. When Dallas inbounded the ball with 14 seconds left in regulation against Minnesota at home on Monday night, they were behind by three points. Irving and Luka Doncic’s exchange resembled a hot potato game played in the playground.

Everyone became too enthusiastic about the prospect of Kyrie and Luka competing for a championship. With the same team, these two will not win an NBA title. These fast solutions are rarely effective, and Irving’s performance while playing with players other than LeBron James is well-known. It has genuinely never resulted in a championship triumph.

Now that Mark Cuban is trying, he has added Kyrie to support Doni, but this pairing is obviously bound to fail. It will take them some time to adjust and they will have a grace period, but right now basketball is very much a game of your turn, mine turn. Considering the last action against the Timberwolves

There were just two players present: Doncic and Irving, and neither cared to put up a shot.

The only players there were Doncic and Irving, neither of whom cared to attempt a shot.

The play’s authorship by Jason Kidd absolutely pops off the page. We may appreciate the concept and luxury of having two isolation kings on the same club, but for Christ’s sake, you can still plan a play to get an easier shot when the game is on the line. This play was ridiculous and surely won’t last.

The team was thrown on his back by 21-year-old Edwards, who scored 32 points on 12-for-22 field goal shooting. He keeps missing from beyond the arc with his three-point attempt, so he will have to keep shooting from there.

Edwards is keeping the club alive as Karl-Anthony Towns is out with a calf injury since November 28.

Edwards will also need to maintain honing his playmaking now that De’Angelo Russell is a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite the slim win, one assist versus Dallas is not enough.

Wednesday sees the Mavericks travel to the Denver Nuggets (40-18), and Thursday sees the Timberwolves host the Washington Wizards (26-30).
