LSU Star Basketball Angel Reese Requested Fans To Show Her Respect
The star of the LSU Tigers, Angel Reese, accepted responsibility for the loss on Twitter following the team’s loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks, but she also begged for respect from the public, citing her status as a “dawg.”
In the closing moments of Thursday night’s upset to South Carolina, Reese, 21, fouled out, maintaining the team’s unbeaten record. The Tigers star made sure to include her “girls” in the touching post.

Reese, often known as the “Bayou Barbie,” went to Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Being named Most Outstanding Player, she guided LSU to its first-ever national championship. Reese broke the records for the most double-doubles in an NCAA season and the most rebounds in an SEC season.
