“Lot of Guys That are Hungry”: Indiana Pacers Guard Tyrese Haliburton Reveals the Reason Behind the Team’s Impressive Performances
Tyrese Haliburton finished the 125-113 win over Charlotte with 22 points (9-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, 11 assists, and three steals in 32 minutes. Haliburton displayed consistency throughout the whole game, scoring seven points in the first quarter on 3-of-3 shooting and closing the half with 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting and four assists. The Indiana Pacers 2022–23 season has gotten off to a stronger-than-anticipated start.
The Pacers have a strong 7-6 record through 13 games after two fought victories over the Charlotte Hornets and the Toronto Raptors. The Pacers’ seventh-highest offensive rating of 114.6, which confirms their reputation as one of the league’s most enjoyable teams to watch, is largely due to Tyrese Haliburton’s development as one of the top floor generals.

Tyrese Haliburton reveals Pacers’ collective efforts
It was anticipated that the Pacers would quickly be out of the postseason picture, but they obviously missed the message. Tyrese Haliburton, a point guard, stated that there is a reason behind that.
“Everybody has something to prove,” Haliburton told reporters. “[Buddy Hield] and I got traded last year. [Bennedict Mathurin] feels like he should have been drafted higher. Jalen Smith got traded. Myles Turner, there’s always trade rumors with him. So we have a lot of guys who have a lot of prove and a lot of guys that are hungry.”

It has already begun to pay off, as the Pacers (7-6) moved one game above.500 on Wednesday with a victory over the Hornets on the road. The Pacers guard has double-digit assists in four straight games and nine of his team’s 13 games so far this year.
Tyrese Haliburton has frequently stated that he did not want to leave the Sacramento Kings, but it is obvious that he has put it in the past as he gives his best every night.
