Los Angeles Angels: Angel Stadium – How to Reach, Where to Park, Eat and Get Tickets

The Los Angeles Angels, also known as the “Halos,” are a professional baseball team based in Anaheim, California. They are a member of the American League (AL) West division of Major League Baseball (MLB) and have been a part of the league since 1961.

The Angels have a rich history that dates back to their inception as an expansion team in 1961. In their early years, the team struggled to find success on the field, finishing with a losing record in 12 of their first 15 seasons. However, the team turned a corner in the 1970s, winning their first division title in 1979 under the leadership of manager Jim Fregosi.

The Angels experienced a major resurgence in the 2000s, thanks in part to the acquisition of superstar outfielder Vladimir Guerrero in 2004. The team won their first-ever World Series title in 2002 under the guidance of manager Mike Scioscia. They also won division titles in 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2008, cementing their status as one of the top teams in the league.
