Looking Like a 10-Year Old: Famous Comedian Roasts Stephen Curry and the Warriors Ahead of Clippers Clash
The Warriors were at the pinnacle of their dynasty at the time, having reached the NBA Finals three times in a row and earning some hardware. The Warriors were a force, especially after adding Kevin Durant. As a result, the Warriors were everywhere, appearing on a variety of shows and events. DeMarcus Cousins teamed up with Mike Epps for a comedy event, which drew the likes of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Matt Barnes, and Quinn Cook.
Epps didn’t waste any time roasting the guests, notably Steph Curry and Draymond Green. Curry’s mouthguard was imitated by the renowned comic in a hilarious parody. Then Epps set his sights on Boogie Cousins and Draymond Green. Throwing jabs at Warriors teammates Curry, Cousins, and Green, Epps put on a terrific performance.
Mike Epps roasts Stephen Curry
“Yeah, we got real legends at the house. My man Steph Curry is in the house.”
“Steph, looking like a 10-year-old out there this year.”
Michael Epps is a stand-up comedian from the United States. In Next Friday and its sequel, Friday After Next, he portrayed Day-Day Jones, and he also played “Black Doug” in The Hangover and The Hangover Part III. In Open Season 2, he took over as the voice of primary character Boog from Martin Lawrence, with whom he co-starred in the comedy Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins as “Reggie,” Roscoe’s cousin.
Mike Epps and Boogie Cousins have cooperated on a stand-up special that would include former teammates Curry and Draymond Green. Epps roasted the Warriors’ superstars during his stand-up routine. The Warriors guard has been criticized throughout the years for not looking his age, earning him the moniker “baby-faced assassin.” Epps would then provide a hilarious impersonation of Cousins’ post-dunk response.
The Warriors face the Clippers next at their home as they plan on ending their four-game losing streak.
