Israel has declared an unprecedented attack against Hamas after the Islamic terrorist group’s militants poured into the country’s south on Saturday. The conflict between Israel and Hamas has killed at least 2,200 lives and is now on its fifth day.

Pastor Andy Wells of First Naples Communications said the church made contact with Pastor Alan Brumback, who is also on the foreign tour, on Wednesday.
The parents of Detroit Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone are among about 50 individuals from a Naples, Florida-based church who are praying for their safe return from Israel this week.

Following the Lions’ 42-24 home triumph against the Panthers this past Sunday, Anzalone disclosed that his parents were delayed in Israel.
“It’s hard,” Anzalone told The Detroit News following the game. “(It’s) really all I’ve been thinking about.”
On Thursday morning, Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone wrote on X that his parents were safely returning home from Israel after being stuck due to the ongoing deadly war.

Hamas unleashed the largest attack on Israel in 50 years, prompting the country to declare war on Hamas. According to Gaza authorities, over 1,200 Israelis and 1,050 Palestinians have been killed.

According to the Detroit News, the First Naples party was supposed to leave Israel through Tel Aviv on Thursday.
On Wednesday, First Naples Communications Pastor Andy Wells told The Associated Press that the return journey was still on track.

According to The Detroit News, Anzalone’s parents landed in Israel on October 2 and are scheduled to leave through Tel Aviv on Thursday.
“We are doing good at our hotel in Jerusalem,” Brumback posted on the church’s Facebook page. “Continue to pray for Israel and for this to be resolved as peacefully and quickly as possible.”
