The one-of-one card has two on-card autographs from the father-son duo of LeBron James in his St. Vincent-St. Mary’s high school outfit and Bronny James in his USC Trojans jersey.

Later this month, the 2023–24 Bowman University Chrome Basketball set will be available, and it will contain it. The collection will also include cards by All-Americans Paige Bueckers of UConn and Caitlin Clark of Iowa.

LeBron and Upper Deck, a competing trading card manufacturer, announced on Wednesday that their two-decade association was ending.

The agreement with Fanatics, whose Fanatics Collectibles trading card and memorabilia branch is named, is expected to start a new chapter in LeBron’s legendary collectibles journey.

“LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, are set to make history together on a unique sports trading card, signaling the beginning of a new era with Fanatics,” stated the sports retailer’s website.

The father-son team will be featured on a unique card that will be available as part of the 2023–24 Bowman University Chrome Basketball set on January 19.

“As someone who appreciates all the moments — big and small — along the journey, I’m excited to share more with my fans through this partnership with Fanatics,” James stated in a statement. “In sports there is so much greatness to celebrate and I’ve always been one to take a moment to recognize that in athletes at the top of their games. It’s all about celebrating the journey and enjoying those moments, with many more to come.”

In June 2022, a James “Triple Logoman” card from the Panini basketball card set for 2020–21 brought $2.4 million at auction. Additionally, in June 2020, a signed 2003–04 Exquisite Rookie Patch, which is numbered 14–of–23 in the world, was one of James’ Upper Deck rookie cards that brought in $1.8 million at auction.

Although the specifics of the agreement between LeBron James and Fanatics Collectibles are yet unknown, experts in the field believe it might be worth more than $5 million annually.

A fresh batch of autographed cards will be available as a result of this innovative collaboration; a collection is scheduled for distribution on the previously indicated date.
