LeBron James Is Supposedly Cool With Playing At Mavs With Doncic And Irving As Teammates

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has allegedly been contacted by Kyrie Irving about perhaps being traded to the Dallas Mavericks. According to one legend, James responded to Irving.

The present Lakers small forward supplied it with a text message despite the fact that it is an extremely complicated operation with little chance of success. He answered, “I’ll think about it,” to his ex-Cavs teammate, with whom he now has a close bond despite their terrible relationship at the time.

The Dallas Mavericks continue to receive a lot of media attention despite the exciting NBA Finals matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat because star point guard Kyrie Irving allegedly asked Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James if he’d consider making his way to Big D.

In 2024, James, who is currently 38 years old, may become an unrestricted free agent. Given his work for the Lakers over the previous five years, which included winning a championship in 2020, James has a decent probability of succeeding in his endeavors.

LeBron has not eliminated the Mavericks with those statements. Absolutely not, but it wasn’t a flat “no” either. It also doesn’t imply that he is any nearer Dallas. Depending on how you choose to interpret it, the message is ambiguous enough to make the glass appear to be either half-full or half-empty. Most likely, it’s merely a strategy for delaying the idea in the hopes that it won’t be demanded.

The Lakers media argued that this was absurd and would never happen later in the day, but by that point, things had already begun to move.

All it takes for James to decide that he wants to team up with Irving and Luka Doncic to create a Big 3 is for him to make that decision in order to truly start things moving, even though that pipe-dream scenario is doubtful given what the Mavericks have to offer in a trade package.

Naturally, the Lakers would want significant compensation if James were to go. And Luka Doncic is the Mavericks’ finest player. Making the coveted Big Three in Dallas would not be simple in Los Angeles. The Slovenian point guard and LeBron have consistently showed their respect for one another and stated a desire to play together at some time.

Like most rumors, we should be skeptical of this information. However, it’s interesting that this LeBron-to-Dallas narrative has picked up steam lately, especially since there were rumors about him potentially considering  joining Doncic even before Irving was in the equation.
