LeBron James Clash With Dillon Brooks In Heated Lakers-Grizzlies Game 2

Game 2 between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies is getting heated. LeBron James’ decision to argue with Grizzlies agitator Dillon Brooks after the NBA’s all-time leading scorer shot a difficult jumper all over the Memphis star is a case in point. LeBron knew he beat Brooks on that specific play, so James only had to tell him.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers are inseparable. The two teams traded insults the whole game on Wednesday night at FedEx Forum.

Dillon Brooks recommenced his battle with LeBron James as the Grizzlies evened the series at 1-1.

Brooks, who has rapidly emerged as one of the best agitators in the NBA, had many harsh words for LeBron.

Midway through the third quarter, LeBron made a mid-range shot over Brooks, and the duo began to argue as the Grizzlies guard chased him down the court while clapping in his face.

The back-and-forth went until the final minutes of the game, and with 7:49 left in the fourth quarter, Brooks sank a huge 3-pointer to increase the Grizzlies’ lead to double digits while staring down LeBron for several seconds as he ran back to the defensive end.

He didn’t stop there, though.

When the Grizzlies were almost certain to win in the final 90 seconds of the game, Brooks sank a decisive 3-pointer to let everyone know.

When questioned about his confrontations with LeBron in the postgame interview, the Grizzlies guard continued to use profanity.

“I don’t care, he’s old, Brooks said.

“I was waiting for that. I was expecting him to do that Game 4, Game 5. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul.

“I poke bears, I don’t respect anyone until they come and give me 40. I pride myself on what I do, defense and taking on any challenge that’s on the board.”
