Lawsuit Filed Against Antonio Brown For Selling Fake $160K Richard Mille Watch

This week, Antonio Brown made headlines once more, this time for selling a Florida man a phoney Richard Mille watch for $160,000.

Ryan Kane, the individual in question, claims that the former NFL wide receiver was aware that the watch was fake and worth substantially less.

What Brings Antonio Brown To The Headlines

In July of this year, Kane filed a complaint in Broward County, Florida, against Brown, alleging that the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver defrauded him during a transaction.

Kane claimed in the lawsuit, which TMZ Sports received, that the Super Bowl champion receiver had assured him the watch was genuine and that its market value was “in excess of $400,000.

Kane noted that the four-time All-remarks Pros were the reason he decided to get the watch. He sent Brown’s business the $160,000 only to learn later that the watch was a fake.

Kane stated in the lawsuit that he had taken the watch to be assessed and authenticated for insurance purposes but that the assessor had given him some bad news: the watch was only worth a few hundred dollars.

Kane is suing Antonio Brown for fraud and other offences in an effort to recover his funds plus interest.

Unfortunately, the free agency receiver’s run-ins with the law are not new.

He was sued for $38,000 last year by his former personal chef, and he was also sued for his part in a 2020 incident with a truck driver.

As if that weren’t enough, a video just surfaced showing him showing himself to guests at a hotel in Dubai.

Antonio Brown is usually in the news, so it could surprise some people that he hasn’t said anything in the open about it. After being released by Tampa Bay in January, Antonio Brown, who won a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in 2020, is a free agent in the NFL.
