Larsa Pippen Revealed That She Secretly Passed Her Message To Marcus Jordan On The Traitors

In order to contact her boyfriend Marcus Jordan, Larsa Pippen disclosed how she got around The Traitors’ prohibition on contestants communicating with one another.

In the second season of the American version of the show, which debuts on Peacock this Friday, the 49-year-old star of Real Housewives of Miami has joined the cast.

Jordan, 32, a former NBA player, has chosen to enroll alongside Pippen and will compete for a $250,000 reward.

Though the producers of the program forbid cast members from speaking to one another after they are called to their rooms, it is not unusual for couples to compete.

But Pippen revealed how, once she found out Jordan desired certain things, she was able to ship them over.

“Marcus asked me for a nail file, and I put it in a paper bag – and they go through everything, you’re not supposed to send anything back and forth – but he wanted a nail file and I was like, I’m just going to send him a nail file,” she said.

“And then I was like, oh, there’s a banana. He said he wanted a banana. So I [write] ‘I love you’ on the banana and send it to him with the nail file.”

Pippen, who has been formally dating Jordan since January 2023, was eager to take a risk in the reality TV industry since she felt too “safe” in her prior employment.

“I kind of wanted to push myself,” Larsa told PEOPLE. “I feel like all the stuff that I’ve done on Bravo has basically been safe and this was a place that was far unsafe, didn’t know what the outcome was going to be, if I was going to be good or evil or what.”

Nevertheless, Jordan claimed that his involvement was motivated by his appreciation for the program.

“Watching season 1, I kind of got hooked,” he said. “And then also I felt like all of the content around the game is strictly focused on the game and it doesn’t dwell too much into your personal life. And so that was a big draw for me.”
