Lamar Jackson Breaks All-Time NFL Regular Season Record by a Quarterback Thanks to His 11th 100-Yard Rushing Game

In their home opener, the Baltimore Ravens showed they knew how to light things on fire, scoring 28 points in the first half to lead the Miami Dolphins 28-7 at the break. In the first half, Lamar Jackson has thrown three touchdown passes, including a 75-yard completion to Rashod Bateman that gave the Ravens a 14-7 lead. After completing 5 of 5 passes for 97 yards on a six-play, 94-yard drive to level the score at 7-7, Tua Tagovailoa connected with Jaylen Waddle. Shortly after, on the second play of the Ravens’ subsequent possession, Jackson connected with Bateman.

Lamar Jackson breaks big regular season record

Lamar Jackson established the all-time regular season record for a quarterback with his 11th 100-yard running game. He surpassed Micael Vick by breaking the record.

On the Ravens’ subsequent possession, Jackson connected with Mark Andrews for a 1-yard touchdown, giving Baltimore a 21-7 lead. Demarcus Robinson caught his final touchdown throw from him for a 12-yard gain, giving Baltimore a 28-7 lead.

For the second time in the first half, Ravens defensive back Marcus Williams picked off Tagovailoa, paving the way for another protracted scoring drive led by Lamar Jackson. The top quarterback for the Ravens has now racked up 346 yards in total, including 79 powerful running yards on a read-option keeper right down the middle of the Dolphins.
