Lamar Jackson and Bernard Pollard Turn Into Prime Kevin Durant as They Engage in an Old-Fashioned Twitter Beef
Few NBA players seem to split opinions as much as Kevin Durant. Durant frequently defends himself on Twitter when those arguments go viral. And he honestly doesn’t see anything wrong with that. On Twitter, Durant converses with NBA fans, usually those who are critical of him. Two NFL stars engaged in a Twitter scuffle in the same fashion.
Different athletes approach social media in different ways. Many people basically avoid it. Others very certainly have PR specialists handle it on their behalf.

Lamar Jackson of the Ravens and Bernard Pollard, a former Ravens safety, engaged in a lengthy social media debate on Wednesday night when Pollard commented on the week’s top ESPN talking point.

Jackson and Pollard’s Twitter scuffle in Kevin Durant style
Is Lamar Jackson a quarterback in the top 10? Because there were just too many punches and counterpunches fired, we won’t even attempt to sort through them. Pollard questioned Jackson’s passing ability, and Jackson questioned Pollard’s playing ability, and it just kept going. Lamar comes out as being a touch overly sensitive to Pollard’s comments.
People might say I’m caping for @Lj_era8, but to me it’s common sense. Any other qb with his impact, his success, his overall statistics would be worshipped. Yet, we are discussing why he isn’t in the top 10 QBs. The 3 other former MVPs are in the top 4. Guess I’m dumb though!

If Pollard wasn’t as effective as Jackson appears to think, he was as a defensive back. In reality, it all began on Tuesday when Ryan Clark, a current ESPN commentator and a former NFL safety, claimed that Jackson ought to be on the list of the top 10 quarterbacks, as determined by an ESPN poll of anonymous executives. Regarding Jackson, Pollard stated the following. Jackson didn’t say anything in reaction to that one.
It’s a lot that can be said. He’s def a Top 10 talent, but as for a Top 10 QB I don’t see it. I believe he should get paid by the #Ravens and should get TOP dollar!

However, the following tweet did rattle Jackson a little bit.
No TOP Wr will ever come there while LJ is there. Plenty of WRs have been available to get in the off-season while LJ has been starting, but nobody wants to go. They give him the respect, but they don’t want to play with him. LJ is good but he’s not able to make the throws.

The fact that receiver Hollywood Brown wanted to be traded out of Baltimore makes Pollard’s message even more difficult. Jackson, who, according to Brown, was aware of his dissatisfaction, reacted angrily and surprised when he learned on draught night that Brown had been moved to Arizona.
🤣🤣you sound dumb asf

We’ll wait and see if one signs…

Jackson is unquestionably a fantastic player. In 2019, he was the MVP. He should be given a sizable second deal. But he just seems beneath this stuff.
