Kyler Murray: ‘We were kind of f–ked’ On Cardinals Poor Performance

On Sunday at home against the Los Angeles Chargers, Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals lost by a score of 25–24. With barely 18 seconds left in the game, Arizona had a seven-point lead, but an Austin Ekeler touchdown gave the Chargers a chance to equalize the score.

With only 15 seconds left in the game, the Chargers decided to go for two instead of attempting an extra point kick to send the game into overtime.

Kyler Murray: ‘We were kind of f–ked’ On Cardinals Poor Performance

Kyler Murray, the quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, was not pleased with how his team let a lead slip away in Sunday’s 25-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, who scored a two-point conversion with 15 seconds left to grab the lead.

Murray, who had missed the previous two games because of a hamstring injury, completed 18 of his 29 passes for 191 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. He also gained 56 rushing yards and another score.

Murray dropped an F-bomb when asked about the interception he threw on a fourth-and-1 play in the second quarter after the game, claiming that DeAndre Hopkins was not even the intended target.

“No, that wasn’t for Hop, actually,” Kyler Murray said. “Schematically, I mean, they kind of, we were kind of f–ked.”

“The whole game we pretty much had what we wanted,” Murray said. “Our four-minute offence execution lost us the game. Defence, I don’t think they should’ve been put in that situation.”

The Cardinals also had their top two receiving threats in Hopkins and Marquise Brown on the field together for the first time this season.

“We had our chances,” Kingsbury said. “I think both teams played well enough to win. They made the plays at the end, unfortunately, we didn’t. Our offence got it back twice — went three-and-out — can’t do that against a good team.”

Arizona’s problems keep getting worse, raising concerns about a possible gap inside the offensive.

Kyler Murray and Hopkins got angry with each other earlier this month during a Seahawks defeat on the sidelines. The All-Pro wide receiver later revealed that the intense conversation was sparked by shared love for the game.

The Cardinals host the Patriots on Dec. 12.
