Kyle Brandt Shades Russell Wilson: ‘least authentic person’ & ‘Poser’

On Thursday Night Football, Russell Wilson had a terrible performance that bothered some people and really infuriated others. Kyle Brandt attempted to put Wilson’s performance and character in context this morning on Good Morning Football. In the end, Wilson is performing poorly, and as long as that is the case, nobody wants to put up with all of his antics.

The Broncos newcomer hasn’t lived up to his high expectations thus far this season, and he hasn’t quite resembled the Russell Wilson that his supporters are accustomed to seeing. This season, Wilson has thrown four touchdown passes and three picks for the Broncos, who are 3–2.

Kyle Brandt Throws Shade At Russell Wilson, And Here’s Why

Good Morning Football analyst and co-host Kyle Brandt had some strong words for Wilson on the show following the Broncos’ 12-9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts last night.

Brandt said:

“Russell Wilson shows up with the sunglasses and his wife, and they, I think they think they’re Jay Z and Beyonce, and they will literally put their hand up and say no, we’re not talking. Why? Because you think you’re that cool.”

“I think Russell Wilson is one of the least authentic personalities we have in this league,” Brandt said. “I think Russell Wilson is a poser. Despite what some may say, I believe he is a wonderful person. He attempts to be someone he isn’t, in my opinion.

Before mentioning other top quarterbacks he believes can succeed, Brandt stated, “When you make the $245 million, you’ve either got to be a terrific man with the locker room that likes you, or you’ve got to be an unbelievable athlete.” “Tom Brady, who earns only half as much as Russell, is both. The MVP, Aaron Rodgers. Both Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are excellent and adored by the public. We’ll find out, Kyler Murray.

The analyst then took aim at Wilson and Ciara’s apparent rude demeanour on the red carpet at the NFL Honors in February. After Russell Wilson’s performance in the Denver Broncos loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night, we may declare the beginning of the Russell Wilson era in Denver to have been a complete disaster. Nobody has blasted Wilson more harshly than Kyle Brandt of NFL Network after Wilson missed a wide-open receiver with a chance to win the game.
