WME and the International Management Group (IMG) joined in 2013, forming WME-IMG. The Professional Bull Riders, Miss Universe, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) were all bought by WME-IMG. For $4.2 billion, WME-IMG bought ZUFFA’s majority interest in the UFC in 2016.
WME-IMG was reorganised and given the moniker Endeavour in 2017.
A fresh agreement was revealed on April 3rd in the shape of a $21+ billion merger between the UFC and WWE. In essence, Endeavour, the UFC’s parent company, was buying WWE.
