“Time for post season and to head back to where it all started.”

After the Lions selected Stafford first overall in the 2009 NFL Draft, he played his first 12 seasons in Detroit. Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly, who has been married for eight years, have four daughters together.

In a sensational transaction that transferred the team’s quarterback, Jared Goff, to the Lions in January 2021, he was acquired by the Rams.

After the trade, the Rams were successful right away, adding Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. to their squad and winning the Super Bowl in February of 2022.

The Rams finished the season with a 5-12 record, however, they had a disappointing year the previous year. However, this season, they secured a playoff berth in late December following the Seahawks’ defeat to the Steelers.

With their 21-20 victory over the 49ers on Sunday, the Rams finished the regular season with a 10-7 record.

Regarding the Lions, after a dismal 3-10-1 campaign in 2021, Goff and the team kept winning, finishing the season at 9-8 in 2022.

Late in December, Detroit won the NFC North title, which was a first for the Lions in thirty years.

Goff, another former first-overall choice, completed the season with 17 games played for the 12-5 Lions, passing for 4,575 yards with 30 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
