Keiji Muto’s Final Match: Date, Time, Channel, Price, & Card For Pro Wrestling Noah Event

It’s time for Keiji Muto’s final fight.

When Pro Wrestling NOAH returns to the Tokyo Dome for the first time since 2015, it was revealed that Keiji Muto (The Great Muta) would compete in his last bout on February 21, 2023.

Due to a hip ailment, Muto had been out since January but made a comeback in May. Muto claimed that the doctor informed him that he would require a hip replacement if his hip became malformed, and there was no way he could fight it. He said that the decision to have him retire was made by the doctor and was not his own.

Keiji Muto Achievements

Keiji Muto has delighted admirers all over the world since 1984. Muto has had a legendary pro wrestling career, whether as “The Great Muta” or as himself. On January 21, the 60-year-old will retire from professional wrestling after facing one of the best performers in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The “Keiji Muto Grand Final Pro-Wrestling ‘Last-Love'” bout, Muto’s final contest, takes place in Japan’s Tokyo Dome. Muto competes against former NJPW champion Tetsuya Naito in a Pro Wrestling Noah match.

All across the world, Muto has won gold. He has won the IWGP heavyweight and IWGP tag team championships on many occasions, as well as the NWA Worlds Heavyweight, GHC Heavyweight and Tag Team, Wrestle-1, and All Japan Triple Crown Heavyweight titles. In 1995, he also took home the G1 Climax. His best competitors include Sting, Lex Luger, Ric Flair, and Masahiro Chono. He was trained by the late Antonio Inoki.

The Great Muta’s final match took place on January 22. In order to defeat Hakushi, Akira, and Naomichi Marufuji, he worked with Darby Allin and Sting.

Naito is a three-time IWGP Heavyweight and a six-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion. Naito, the captain of Los Ingobernables de Japon, has won the New Japan Cup once and the G1 Climax twice.
