Look no further than rookie defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux of the New York Giants following their victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday if you want to see a man who cares about winning.
After the Giants stunned the Ravens with a comeback in the fourth quarter to earn their fifth victory of the year, Thibodeaux was seen sobbing with happiness. And the primary cause of it all was Thibodeaux.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens had 1:43 remaining in the game and all of their timeouts to charge down the field and mount their own comeback after the Giants took the lead, 24-20, on a Saquon Barkley touchdown.
However, on that same drive’s second play, Thibodeaux broke through the right tackle and failed to simply locate Jackson in the pocket. He discovered the ball.
Players scrambled to pick up the ball after Thibodeaux swiped at Jackson’s hand, which caused the ball to fall to the ground. The Giants’ victory was sealed by Leonard Williams, who was making his first appearance since Week 2.

In a message to Giants supporters, Thibodeaux wrote, “Man, y’all can see my emotions going crazy.” “Man, we did it. Man, we at MetLife My favorite. Man, I’m glad to be here. Let’s go, Big Blue! “
With his crucial sack, Thibodeaux finished the game with three tackles. Due to a knee ailment, Thibodeaux’s NFL debut for the Giants had to wait until Week 3. Although this was his first career sack, New York has already seen what he is capable of by setting the edge, and he has been applying some pressure.
A key component of the Giants’ future, Thibodeaux leaves his mark on a unit of defense that has surprised the NFL this season with its knack for pulling through in crunch time.
