Fans of Taylor Swift have been posting offensive and derogatory remarks on social media about Kayla Nicole, the ex-girlfriend of NFL player Travis Kelce. This behavior seems to be related to Kelce’s recent relationship, which has drawn more attention to his personal life and given him a new fan following.
Nicole, who was in a relationship with Kelce before to his romance with Swift, has had to confront the negative comments on social media. She recently posted about how frustrated she was, saying, “I’m unproblematic. Mind my business.”

The model continued, “Never respond to the constant vitriol. Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either. Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for ‘yall’ (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone.”
Kayla’s supporters leap to her defense.
Swift’s “Swifties,” or her fan base, have come under fire for how they treated Kayla Nicole. A follower wrote, “To all swifties who come to Kayla’s page to hate – you embarrass your idol and also the few normal people that do like TSwift (me) by being the stereotype of jealous, insecure, juvenile mean girls who are also borderline racist any time they address a black person.”

Other admirers offered their encouragement to Nicole, with one commenting, “Sorry lovely. You’re gorgeous and talented and should be recognized for that. I’m a Swiftie, but hate that you’re caught up in that. It’s not cool.”

Nicole has received a lot of support from her admirers despite the negative comments; one fan wrote, “They are just sad miserable humans for the most part. You don’t deserve all the hate you are getting,” and another fan added, “They’re more obsessed with you than they are of their fave.”
Kayla and Travis had a four-year relationship.
Prior to their final breakup in 2022, Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole’s relationship saw ups and downs. Nicole revealed that she initiated contact by DMing Kelce on Instagram in 2017, and the two went on to date intermittently for five years.
