Kawhi Leonard Questionable For Game 6 With Phoenix Suns

Kawhi Leonard is questionable for game 6 in Los Angeles.

Paul George is keeping the Los Angeles Clippers alive in the league. He played an incredible game 5 for the Clippers against Pheonix Suns. His 41 points in 41 minutes helped the Clippers go come out of the sticky situation at 3-1. The conference finals score is now 3-2 with the Suns leading the series. However, the next game is also crucial for the Clippers or else their journey will end.

For Phoenix Suns, there is Chris Paul and Devin Booker. As long as Chris Paul is playing the chances for Clippers winning game 6 is less. I don’t think he will back off from getting into his first finals. Moreover, he will keep fighting with all of his strength to get there. Therefore, the Suns will surely try to end it in game 6 against the Clippers. I don’t think Paul George alone can handle that pressure.

Can we expect Kawhi Leonard in the next game?

Kawhi Leonard missed seven games in the 2021 NBA playoffs. Before getting injured he was averaging 30.4 points per game. It’s really the time when the Clippers need him the most. However, his return is still questionable. The answer about his return is not clear as the Clippers haven’t officially ruled him out. Unless there is an official update on his condition we can expect that he can return in the next game.

As amazing as it has been to see Paul George and the Clippers battle for their season finisher lives, LA’s expectations of progressing to the NBA Finals rely upon getting their star back. Kawhi Leonard is the only ray of hope for the Clippers. Each game the Clippers expand the series gives Leonard more opportunity to make a return.
