Kansas City Chiefs Superfan Arrested For Armed Robbery

Xavier Michael Babudar is a devoted Chiefs supporter who shows up to both home and away games in a wolf costume. He frequently updates his social media accounts under the handle “ChiefsAholic,” and you may have even seen him on television.

Some fans started to worry about Babudar when he failed to show up for the Chiefs’ game in Houston on Sunday and stopped blogging while it was going on. It turned out that Babudar had legal troubles after being charged of stealing a bank in Bixby, Oklahoma.

According to a police report, Babudar was detained by Bixby police on Friday on suspicion of armed robbery, wearing a mask while committing a crime, possessing a firearm while committing a crime, and threatening to commit a violent act. Babudar was detained and taken to the Tulsa County jail. His bond was set at $200,000.

The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday covered Babudar’s strange tale. It appears that his notoriety is becoming infamous.

According to court documents, Babudar, who regularly attends Chiefs games in his well-known wolf costume, was detained and booked for armed robbery on Friday in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The documents further claim that the suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the crime.

After a witness inside the bank alerted the police, Babudar was apprehended as he tried to flee with a weapon and a sizable sum of money. Both witnesses and bank personnel were unharmed throughout the incident.

Twitter users who follow the Chiefs believe Babudar was travelling when the event took place. Babudar has not yet responded to the issue.

Babudar’s social media pages were silent as of Tuesday morning. Since Friday, when he retweeted Steve Harvey’s message “When they sleep on you… TUCK THEM IN,” he hasn’t posted anything on Twitter.

Babudar participated in a Patrick Mahomes charity event earlier this month. He was also present when the Chiefs defeated the Broncos 34-28 on December 11 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.

Last month, Babudar tweeted about betting on Chiefs games, writing, “I make a good living, plus I hustle in private. House money I’m playing with TBH.”
