Josie Rutschman, stunning sister of Adley Rutschman, caught everyone’s eye during his match

During this year’s Home Run Derby, Adley Rutschman wasn’t the only member of his family attracting attention.

Cameras flashed to family members cheering him on, including his sister Josie, as the great Orioles catcher, 25, put on an outstanding performance at T-Mobile Park in Seattle by slamming 27 home runs while hitting from both sides of the plate.

The unexpected star of the Home Run Derby, who could be seen cheering on Rutschman in the stands, drew a lot of attention on Twitter.

“Safe to say the real star of the HR Derby is going to be Rutschman’s sister,” one user tweeted Monday night.

Another said, “Rutschman just put up 27 home runs switch hitting yet the cameraman won’t take the camera off his smoke show sister. Game respect game.”

Additionally, other commenters joked that Josie’s social media following would soar after her on-air appearance.

“Adley Rutschman’s sister just gained 1,000 followers in 30 seconds (don’t ask me how I know),” a user posted.

A separate fan joked, “Rutschman’s sister bout to gain some new IG followers.”

In May 2022, Josie congratulated Rutschman on his major league debut and paid a moving homage to the former Oregon State star.

“You made it,” Josie gushed on Instagram at the time. “Baltimore, thank you for being so welcoming. Take care of my big brother.”
