Josh Allen’s Infamous Jump Over Justin Reid Gets Immortalized After a Street in Buffalo Is Named ‘Hurdle Ave’

Josh Allen is a fan favorite in Buffalo. Allen was the seventh pick in the first round of the 2018 draft and while his first two seasons did not go well at all, as it stands today, Josh Allen is the front-runner to claim MVP honors at the end of the season ahead of the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and others.

The Bills had gone long periods of time without any success whatsoever and Allen made the fans in Buffalo dream again. In his breakout season in 2020, he led the Bills to their first division title and playoff victory since 1995, en route to an AFC Championship Game appearance.

Allen brought the Bills to a consecutive division title the following year, the franchise’s first since 1991, and became the first NFL quarterback to have a touchdown-scoring drive on every offensive possession of a game.

This season, Allen picked up right where he left off in 2021. He leads the league in yards thrown as well as touchdowns. In his most recent outing, Josh Allen, at six feet five inches and 237 pounds, displayed his athleticism by jumping over Kansas City Chiefs’ safety Justin Reid in what was an epic moment. Buffalo Bills fans likes Allen’s hurdle so much that they have now named a street after that, ‘Hurdle Ave’.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in 2022

Going into the 2022 season, Allen and the Buffalo Bills were firm favorites to win the Super Bowl. Six game weeks into the season, we know why. Allen and his men have won five of their six games so far with their only loss coming against the Miami Dolphins in game week three.

Since that loss, the Bills have secured wins over the likes of the Ravens, Steelers and more recently, a 24-20 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Allen and his team have a bye week this time around, but they will return to action to take on the Green Bay Packers on the 30th of October, which should be another win for them.
