Joey Bosa Slammed His Helmet After The Jaguars Scored A Touchdown

In the NFL Wild Card round matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Joey Bosa had a difficult fourth quarter. Bosa started to lose his cool as the Jaguars were mounting a comeback against the Los Angeles Chargers.

He made an unsportsmanlike comment to an official first, which resulted in a punishment. Bosa then flung his helmet to the ground as yet another decision went against the Chargers, incurring another unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Joey Bosa Slammed His Helmet After The Jaguars Scored A Touchdown

The Jaguars and Chargers’ AFC Wild Card game on Saturday was officiated poorly, according to Joey Bosa. The 27-year-old defensive end let his frustration show, and the result was a very intriguing conclusion.

Despite having a 27-0 halftime lead, Los Angeles managed just three points in the opening 26 minutes of the second half. Jacksonville was then able to fight back.

With five minutes and 30 seconds left, Trevor Lawrence delivered his fourth touchdown pass of the game after labouring for the first 30 minutes to establish any form of rhythm. the Jaguars’ deficit was reduced to four.

Jawaan Taylor, the right tackle, looked to enter pass protection during the play before the ball was snapped.

On the touchdown play, he was in charge of blocking Bosa and preventing him from approaching Lawrence. However, Taylor might have flubbed his start and was holding.

Football plays involve holding, therefore that part is much more unimportant. The more obvious problem was the false start.

Taylor was able to advance on his block, which prevented Bosa from getting close.

The Chargers pass rusher crossed the field and threw his helmet to the turf. Bosa smacked the helmet once more after an assistance recovered for him and handed it back.

Bosa was assessed an unsportsmanlike penalty for his behaviour. For Jacksonville’s point-after try, that brought the ball up to the 1.5-yard line, thus the team decided to go for two.

To make the score two, Lawrence went up and crossed the goal line.

The Jaguars defence stepped up and forced a turnover on downs on the subsequent possession. Jacksonville successfully converted a field goal after regaining possession of the ball with a chance to win.

First, a brave decision on 4th-and-1 placed them in position for a field goal.

Boom! There he goes slamming his helmet!
