Joe Burrow Concerned On Tua Tagovailoa’s ‘Scary’ Injury

The NFL community continues to discuss Tua Tagovailoa’s concussion. Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, provided the most recent. On “The Colin Cowherd Podcast,” the rising star discussed Tagovailoa’s injury and said that it is a natural part of playing football.

Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, was seriously hurt during the Week 4 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Bengals, who witnessed everything, expressed serious concerns for Tagovailoa’s wellbeing.

After absorbing a blow in the game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3, the quarterback displayed obvious concussion symptoms but continued to play. Then, in Week 4 against the Bengals, he took another significant blow and was in critical condition. After being brought to the hospital and given the all-clear by the doctors, he returned to Miami with the Dolphins.

Joe Burrow Concerned Over Tua’s “Scary” Injury

In several instances, Burrow admitted, “I don’t remember the second half, I don’t remember the full game, or I know I got a bit lightheaded at one point. “but nothing durable.

“You’ll sustain head damage. Your ACL is going to get torn. Your arm is going to break.”

“That is the game we engage in. We lead a life like that.”

Despite attempts to make football as safe as possible, Burrow understands that there will always be dangers associated with the game.

“You have 300-pound men running 20 miles an hour trying to take your head off while you’re standing still, trying to ignore it and find receivers that are open,” he said.

Tua Tagovailoa has already been excluded from the Dolphins’ game against the Jets on Sunday while still in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Tua Tagovailoa claimed he is “feeling much better and concentrating on recovery” in a message published on Twitter on Friday. The NFLPA’s executive director, DeMaurice Smith, has vowed to use “every legal tool” to look into a potential protocol breach between the Dolphins and Tagovailoa.
