Jets Star Quinnen Williams Deletes Tweet Possibly Shading Zach Wilson

The San Francisco 49ers struggled mightily at quarterback against the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs. Quinnen Williams, a star for the New York Jets, was presumably thinking back on this campaign while Zach Wilson was in charge.

Jets Star Quinnen Williams Deletes Tweet Possibly Shading Zach Wilson

a tweet that Williams recently erased. He felt bad for Nick Bosa because of the quarterback issues San Francisco was experiencing. But it appears that he is openly disparaging quarterback Zach Wilson.

The Jets‘ offence struggled the whole season, and when quarterback Zach Wilson was benched, the situation spiralled out of control. Williams expressed some of the franchise’s unhappiness on social media on Sunday afternoon. It was a tough year for the team.

Williams tweeted that Nick Bosa now understands what it’s like to play on a team with no offence while the Eagles were dominating San Francisco.

“Now Bosa see what I been going threw [sic], No offence,” the former Alabama standout tweeted as the Eagles were handing it to the 49ers, according to the New York Post.

He eventually had a change of heart and pressed the delete button.

In one sense, Williams is correct. For significant stretches of the season, the Jets’ offence was a complete mess. The club finished the season with a 0-6 record, only scoring more than ten points three times during that stretch, and never exceeding 22. It was an awful run.

The Jets scored just 17.4 points a game on average during the regular season while throwing 15 touchdown passes and 14 picks. You simply can’t produce anything on the attacking side of the ball and expect to win many games. Therefore, Quinnen Williams is undoubtedly correct when he asserts that Zach Wilson and the rest of the offence had significant issues.

On the other side, incidents like this are what actually cause the locker room to deteriorate. You can annoy your teammates by tweeting your disgust with one complete side of the ball.

The Jets are already dealing with a lot of distractions as a result of the disarray in the QB room and Zach Wilson’s rapid decline as a prospect.

Quinnen Williams stoking the fire is the last thing the team needs.

You can guess the reason he removed the tweet. It is unnecessarily drawing attention to the quarterback position for the Jets. Whichever way you look at it, Quinnen Williams’ deleted post has football fans in a frenzy.

The future of the Jets’ offence hangs in the balance of the quarterback position. This offseason, Quinnen Williams might be able to achieve his goals. It’s expected that Aaron Rodgers-related rumours will intensify. So be aware of that circumstance.
