Jets QB Zach Wilson’s Girlfriend, Nicolette Dellanno Is Finally On “First Lady of Jets Football” Work
This is Zach Wilson’s third year with the Jets, thus he was expected to take it easy this year. To learn from Aaron Rodgers as the future Hall of Fame quarterback led New York to the Super Bowl was the game plan for the former second overall choice.
Four plays into the regular season, the stress-free existence of a backup earning first-round compensation came to an end. Wilson was compelled back into the game after Rodgers had an injury that is anticipated to finish his season.

The Jets are now 1-0 after defeating the Buffalo Bills in overtime to start the season. Wilson did enough to avoid losing the game. Wilson is the Jets’ starting quarterback since there aren’t many other choices at the time.
He will get the start against the Cowboys this Thursday in Dallas. This is his first start since the Jaguars defeated him in Week 16 of last season. Wilson’s inclusion in the starting lineup isn’t the only change here.
His girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno, who joined the league before the 2022 season as a result of the turbulent split he experienced, is also back playing for the first team. She watched the Bills’ victory at MetLife Stadium.
Despite all the ups and downs, she remained with Wilson and resisted the urge to explore her options as a free agent. She is therefore ready and prepared to resume her “First Lady of Jets Football” responsibilities.

Wilson is once again under pressure, ready or not. The Jets and their supporters will eventually tire of doing just enough to avoid a loss. He needs to step up and start succeeding on the field as he has off it.

With Rodgers as their starting quarterback, the expectations for the Jets heading into the season were very high. If this club misses the playoffs, Wilson will get a one-way ticket out of New York; it’s no longer Super Bowl or bust.
That might let a wave of information through. Before you know it, Nicolette decides to try out free agency as a result of one thing leading to another. That is the absolute worst case.
Wilson’s situation might possibly turn out well. He might be able to bring some of his off-field assurance onto the field and pick up a few victories. The Jets eventually become a legitimate playoff team as their confidence grows.
As Zach Wilson and Nicolette return to their starting roles, it will be interesting to see how everything turns out. I wish them both luck.
