Jason Kelce’s Teammate Beau Allen Reminisces Meeting Kylie Drunk: “I was Fighting”

Former teammate Jason Kelce has shared more amusing facts from their first encounter. Kelce has already shared the story of how he fell in love with his wife Kylie after they met on a dating app. After playing with Kelce with the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots before retiring in 2022, Beau Allen noted that Kelce was so inebriated that he was unable to walk.

Following their Tinder connection, Kelce, 36, got to know Kylie. However, the night’s conclusion unfolded rather differently than most dates would; Allen began by sharing his version of the events that led to him needing to carry his friend out of the Philadelphia venue Buffalo Billiards.

In the most recent episode of the podcast he co-runs with his brother Travis, “New Heights,” Kelce posed the following question to Allen: “What’s your side of the story,” following notification “Kylie’s first impression of me was you carrying me out of a bar.”

“That was physically one of the hardest things I’ve ever done,” Allen remarked, and Kelce answered: “I was fighting you. I was fighting everyone.”

Kylie consented to go out again.

He continued by telling how Kylie swiftly captured Kelce’s heart and how he was taken aback when she agreed to a second date.

“We were in the cafeteria just talking about it. Then we were at the holiday party in Philly, which is a big deal, kind of a formal event, we dressed up and pre-gamed it, of course,” he added.

“Then Kelce’s like, ‘I think I’m going to meet up with this girl,’ and I heard all about her, I’m excited to meet her. Then the night just went a little bit sideways and Kelce fell asleep on the bar, like snoozing.”

At that point, Allen said that he was “shocked” that Kylie had accepted to go on a second date with him when Kelce asked.

“I was slightly surprised,” Allen said. “But you’re a great guy. You’re charming, look at that laugh. How can you not want to go on a second date with you?”

After being hitched in April 2018, the couple has three little daughters: Wyatt, who is four years old, Elliotte, who is two, and Bennett, who was born in February 2023. Many would contend that Kylie made the right decision on that inebriated evening many moons ago. She is frequently spotted at games and sharing photographs of their home life on social media.
