Jason Kelce Wore A Luchador Stolen Mask At Super Bowl Party But Now The Owner Wants It Back
At a Super Bowl afterparty, Jason Kelce looked amazing in a wrestling mask that wasn’t even his.
The brother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce celebrated in style following the team’s victory against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, February 11, and their second straight Super Bowl victory. In many footage from the Super Bowl afterparty, Jason Kelce can be seen dancing with Marshmello while donning a wrestling mask.

Fans were unaware, though, that the mask was an unexpected gift, as Jason Kelce disclosed on the podcast “New Heights,” which the Kelce brothers host, on February 14.
Operation “Get Elijah His Mask Back” is underway! I appreciate everyone bringing this to my attention, and look forward to uniting Elijah with his mask once again. Your mask indeed brings great fortune, I owe you big time, sorry it was commandeered https://t.co/HHazKInFRi

After the game, Elijah Smith, an eighth student from Dallas, told NBC News that he and his family saw the former center for the Philadelphia Eagles. Elijah then requested Jason to take a picture of them wearing his handmade Chiefs luchador wrestling mask.
“I gave him my mask, and then he dropped it and then picked it back up. Then I got a picture with him wearing it, and then I just hung out next to them for five to ten minutes, they were dancing and everything,” Elijah explained.
Photos taken by the elder Kelce brother during the evening showed him ROCKIN’ Elijah’s luchador mask for hours on end. Jason even mentioned this on his brother Travis’s “New Heights” podcast this week.

“It didn’t start getting to the next level until I found that luchador mask. Initially, when I first got there, you were trying to get me to go up on the stage with you, and I was like, ‘Nah, I’m going to be over here. This is your guys’ time,” Jason told his brother on the pod. “There’s something about finding that luchador mask that really just transformed the night,” he continued.
While laughing at his brother’s decisions, Travis Kelce questioned the mask’s sanitation given that it was discovered on the ground.
“Did you at least like give it a little rinse under the sink?” Travis Kelce enquired.

“Where was I going to rinse it off, Travis? You see a luchador mask, you don’t ask questions. You just put that thing on, baby,” Jason Kelce responded.
Why did Jason Kelce choose 62?
The younger Kelce brother said, “If there is a Kelce legacy, two brothers making it to the NFL, it all started in 1987, because this big guy was born in 1987.”

How many Super Bowl rings does Jason Kelce have?
Under Reid’s leadership, he has already earned three championship rings and established himself as one of the league’s greatest tight ends ever. Reid would dismiss the event, claiming that Kelce’s outburst was the result of his desire to be on the field during the game.
