Ja’Marr Chase Gives QB Joe Burrow A Return Period Post Recovery From Calf Injury

Joe Burrow has been advised by Ja’Marr Chase to put his long-term health before all else and postpone his return to the field.

Ja’Marr Chase Gives QB Joe Burrow A Return Period Post Recovery From Calf Injury

Currently sidelined after sustaining a calf injury in training camp is the standout quarterback, Joe Burrow!

Joe Burrow has rapidly risen to become one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. In each of the previous two seasons, he assisted the Cincinnati Bengals in reaching the AFC Championship game, where they ultimately prevailed and advanced to the Super Bowl.

Given his enormous record, it makes perfect sense why he’s one of the MVP favorites in 2023 even if the Bengals are predicted to contend for a championship.

There is growing confidence that he would be available for Week 1 of the NFL after earlier reports predicted he would miss several weeks of activity.

The Bengals strengthened their QB room by adding Reid Sinnett in reaction to the injury. The 26-year-old is anticipated to participate in Bengals training camp ahead of the upcoming campaign, although he is probably in the depth chart behind Trevor Siemian and Jake Browning.

Burrow would require “several weeks” of rehabilitation to be able to recover from the injury, the Bengals have announced. The start of the NFL regular season in 2023 is therefore seriously in jeopardy of the quarterback missing it.

Chase prefers that Burrow wait to make a comeback until he is fully recovered, though.

Although it’s still unknown how long Joe Burrow will be out injured, Ja’Marr Chase gave some insight in a recent NFL Network interview. The renowned wide receiver disclosed his quarterback’s ailment and the advice he provided him.

“I told him, in all honesty, I don’t want him there. You don’t want to cause problems later in the season. As long as you’re there after Week Five and on, we’re good, brother.”

On September 10, the Bengals and Cleveland Browns will face off to start the regular season.

Burrow’s condition is unknown, thus the offence in Cleveland may be run by Trevor Siemian, the team’s backup quarterback.

Siemian is a passable backup, but the team’s performance in the season opener will suffer without the explosive duo of Burrow and Chase.

It is uncertain if Burrows will be able to play in the game. If the Bengals’ starting quarterback isn’t prepared, they’ll probably go to Trevor Siemian to run the offence.

The backup quarterback has extensive NFL experience, having spent last season with the Chicago Bears.
