A reporter questioned Chase on Wednesday during the team’s required minicamp about the best NFL player. Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback, disputes the notion that he is at the top of the list.
“Joe Burrow,” Chase said. “Everybody knows that. That’s easy. MVP.”

Of course, Burrow wasn’t the MVP in the previous campaign. It was Mahomes, who finished with a 67.1% completion percentage and 5,250 yards passing with 41 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
This conversation followed Burrow’s earlier assertion that Mahomes is without a doubt the league’s finest quarterback and that there is no room for debate.
Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Bengals, was asked by media on Tuesday who he believed was the finest quarterback in the NFL. He immediately identified the quarterback as Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs.

“I don’t think there’s any argument right now,” Burrow said. “It’s Pat until somebody has a better year than he’s had. He’s the one to knock off.”
Furthermore, it makes sense because Mahomes just had a remarkable year and won the Super Bowl.
Despite Burrow not being named MVP last year, Chase proceeded to disparage Patrick Mahomes when his name was brought up in reaction to Chase’s remarks.

He asked dismissively, “Pat who?”
Chase, on the other hand, is unwavering in his support of Burrow and places him above all others.
Due to their two consecutive appearances in the AFC Championship Game, the Bengals and Chiefs have become closer.

In the previous two seasons, both the Chiefs and Bengals made trips to the Super Bowl; however, the Chiefs prevailed in their matchup while the Bengals lost to the Los Angeles Rams in SoFi Stadium in 2022. During the 2023 NFL season, both clubs are anticipated to be contenders once more, and if they want to advance, their stars must perform when it counts.
