Jaguars Mascot Shows Up Wearing ‘Speedo’ At Game Against Ravens

On Sunday afternoon, Jaxson de Ville, the Jacksonville Jaguars mascot, is letting it all hang out. Not sure if this falls under the NSFW category.

The Jaguars mascot is attempting to sabotage football for everyone, so hide your kids.

Jaguars Mascot Shows Up Wearing Speedo At Game Against Ravens

The Jacksonville Jaguars mascot, Jaxson de Ville, showed up to Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens sporting a speedo with an American flag motif. Why? We’re not sure for sure, but it was certain to show off its, eh, patriotism at nearly every opportunity.

Jaguars Mascot gave Justin Tucker a stare that was almost bare, but Tucker wasn’t bothered. He was successful with kicks from 27 and 29 yards, giving the Ravens a 6-0 lead right away.

Uncertain reasons may have led de Ville to wear nothing but the Speedo on Sunday. The game’s start time was moved to 1:25 p.m. ET due to a pregame lightning delay, so possibly the bad weather had a factor in his decision.

Having said that, the mascot has worn that attire before. He did this in Week 9’s 27-20 victory over the Raiders, the team’s final home contest. And given that the Jaguars defeated the Ravens in Week 12 with a 28-27 victory, the Jaguars may now perceive it was a lucky charm!

In any case, Jaguars Mascot attire soon caught the eye of NFL fans, and he rapidly became a hot topic on Twitter. Many people tweeted about his Speedo and made conjectures regarding his choice to wear it.

After Week 12’s performance, the Jags’ marketing and press relations staff face several inquiries. Unfortunately, the Jaguars’ mascot has already made headlines for the wrong reasons, so this is nothing new.
