Jaguars’ Ex-Rookie Trevor Lawrence Makes Absurd NFL Common Draft Era Record Not to be Proud of
As they improved to 3-5 in the year, the Denver Broncos defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-17 to end their four-game losing run. The Jaguars are presently 2-6 after losing their last five games. The Jacksonville Jaguars of 2022 have a history of losing closely contested games. Furthermore, the squad as a whole cannot be blamed for the defeat, which makes it even more unpleasant. In order to rob the opponent of points and one more opportunity to score, Trevor Lawrence threw two poor picks.
Following the turnover, Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars overcame Cam Robinson’s second-down holding to answer, with a 15-yard Travis Etienne rush leading to a 22-yard touchdown throw from Lawrence to Engram on third down.

Outside of the red zone, Trevor performs admirably, but in it, he performs horribly. Trevor Lawrence never gives the impression that he is in charge while he is on the pitch. He never comes across as being in charge. He slumps back, appears to be losing control, and won’t rise to throw the ball correctly.
The team still has a ton of intriguing components to expand on, but so far this year has been a dud. Especially for Trevor Lawrence, their former rookie quarterback. Everybody believed Lawrence and the Jaguars could improve their performance. Instead, Jacksonville has maintained its poor performance and still presents itself as the league’s weakest team.

After a stellar undergraduate career at Clemson that began with an incredible run as a true freshman taking over the offense and guiding the Tigers to a national title, Lawrence was never able to measure up to the expectations put on him.
This season will go down in history for all the wrong reasons, and it has been a horrible representation of football in general.
