Ja Morant Has Gone Wild As He Celebrates With Gun Shot Gestures

Guard Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies seems unable to control himself. Tuesday night at Smoothie King Center, he dunk to cement his team’s victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on the road. As he celebrated, he seemed to unleash fictitious bullets into the crowd.

Following his return from a 25-game ban imposed by the NBA for various aggressive acts on social media, including flashing a handgun many times, Morant, 24, has guided Memphis to four straight victories.

After a dunk, the gifted NBA guard—who has an apparent gun obsession—seemed to be shooting into the crowd.

Morant was previously suspended for displaying a fake pistol in a vehicle and a gun at a strip club. It’s rather audacious of you to act like to be opening fire on the crowd given his history.

Ja Morant served a 25-game suspension before making a spectacular comeback to the NBA. He scored 34 points, including a game-winning floater at the buzzer, in a game-winning effort against the New Orleans Pelicans, which highlighted his return.

In his debut home game, Morant scored twenty points and dished out eight assists against the Indiana Pacers. Against the Atlanta Hawks, he recorded his first double-double of the year with 30 points and 11 assists.

With Morant back on the club, the team has seen a revival of his scoring prowess and the conviction that it still has its captain.

Simulating firing a weapon when he’s recently returned from suspension is obviously not a good image, even though the gun celebration is only a notion that went viral after Barstool Sports posted it on X. Morant could as well have been engaged in a completely other activity.

In the video, he can be seen making a hand signal before seemingly going all out and adding what appears to be Morant attempting to fire a bazooka.
