“It’s a good day to have a good day,” said Jena Sims, wife of Golfer Brooks Koepka amid PGA Tour-LIV Golf merger
Jena Sims appears to be a strong supporter of golf community harmony.
Jena Sims, a model, replied to the historic decision on her Instagram Stories shortly after it was announced on Tuesday that the PGA Tour and its LIV Golf counterpart will be merging with the DP World Tour to form one organization. Jena Sims is the wife of Brooks Koepka.

The 34-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit contestant tweeted alongside Golf.com’s report of the merger, “It’s a good day to have a good day,” and ended her message with a handshake emoji.
Then Sims, who is expecting her first child with Koepka, seemed to make reference to the abuse that individuals who defected to LIV and their loved ones faced.

In response to the sentence in Golf Digest that stated, “The PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which is the primary financial backer of LIV Golf, have announced a treaty and potential merger, ending two years of civil war in professional golf,” the soon-to-be mother-of-two added in a different Instagram Story, “And on social media to innocent bystanders and families of the players who joined LIV.”
The five-time major champion Koepka joined the rebel tour in June of last year after getting married to Sims abroad in Turks & Caicos.
“Opinions change. I feel very comfortable with the decision I made,” Koepka responded. “I’m happy, and did what’s best for me.”

Like Sims, Koepka also commented on the historic announcement made on Tuesday via social media, taking aim at one of LIV’s most vocal detractors, Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee.
“Welfare Check on Chamblee,” tweeted Koepka.
Tuesday afternoon on Golf Channel, Chamblee spoke on the unfolding events, saying in part, “I think this is one of the saddest days in the history of professional golf.”
