Is Wander Franco Married? Identity Of His Childhood Girlfriend Is Revealed Amid Allegations Of Him Being In An Improper Relationship With A Minor Girl

The identity of Wander Franco’s wife has been made public for the first time as the Rays star is accused of having inappropriate interactions with several minors.

Although The Daily Mail discovered on Friday that he is married to his childhood girlfriend from the Dominican Republic, 21-year-old Rachelly Paulino, Franco, 22, has apparently never identified his wife by name.

According to the story, the couple was married following the 2021 season and has two sons together.

Given the recent claims leveled against the former, it’s unclear where Franco and Paulino stand right now.

Franco, an All-Star with the Rays in his third MLB season this year, was put on the restricted list and is currently away from the team while the league conducts an investigation into social media posts involving the shortstop that surfaced last week and the charges that followed.

The tweets claimed that Franco was having unlawful contact with a youngster and allegedly went popular on X (formerly known as Twitter) before being deleted.

According to the Dominican publication Diario Libre, a 17-year-old girl in the Dominican Republic allegedly lodged a complaint against Franco.

The Dominican Republic attorney general’s office also disclosed to the Associated Press that it was looking into the situation in addition to MLB.

“We support any steps taken by the league to better understand the situation,” After Franco was put on the restricted list, the Rays issued a statement. “Out of respect for all parties involved, we have no further comments at this time.”

Hector Gomez, a reporter for z101 Digital, made the surprising claim that Franco is “very unlikely” to play in MLB once more on Thursday.

Franco has spoken on numerous occasions about his first kid, Wander Samuel Franco Jr., who was born in 2018, even though he had never before used Paulino’s name

According to reports, Franco and Paulino welcomed a second kid in 2022 and this past May purchased a new home in Tampa for $1.55 million.

Their relationship dates back to 2016 when Franco’s mother Nancy Aybar wished Paulino a happy 15th birthday on Facebook and referred to her as her “daughter-in-law.” They are said to have both grown up in Bani, Dominican Republic.

“Today is the birthday of a very special person for me, she is Rachely Paulino my love, may God pour out many blessings on you, papa, and may make you a good woman and may he guide you on the right path,” Aybar captioned the post. “Congratulations, my daughter-in-law.”

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Franco appeared to refute the accusations in a video he posted on Instagram Live on Sunday.

“They say that I’m in public with a little girl, that I’m running around with a minor,” Franco said in Spanish during that video. “People don’t know what to do with their time. They don’t know what they’re talking about.

“That’s why I prefer to be on my side and not get involved with anybody.”
