In his NFL debut against the New York Giants in Week 1, he had 13 carries for 24 yards in a 35–17 victory. Pollard had his first career 100-yard rushing game in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, with 103 yards on 13 runs and a touchdown as the Cowboys won 31–6. Pollard rushed for 131 yards on 12 carries in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams, including a 44-yard touchdown, as the Cowboys won 44–21.
