He was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Year for his outstanding college career. Additionally, he was chosen for the CAA All-Tournament team. Lee joined the Miami Heat for the 2016 NBA Summer League after going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draught. Lee was dealt to the NBA G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors on August 24, 2017.

He also had a stint with the Atlanta Hawks. Lee returned to the Santa Cruz Warriors after signing a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors on July 14, 2018. Lee and the Warriors won the NBA Finals in 2022. He inked a contract with the Phoenix Suns on July 7, 2022. Lee was added to the American national squad on February 22, 2018, in preparation for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Damion is a star player at the Phoenix Suns and is a happily married guy. He is married to the love of his life, his wife, Sydel Curry. The couple got married back in 2018 and are going and growing strong. Sydel obviously does not need any introduction. Damion and Sydel have been friends for almost ten years. It’s not surprising that Lee and Sydel met at a basketball game given that Lee plays basketball and Sydel is related to the basketball family. When Sydel was a student at Elon University in 2013 and took part in the volleyball team there, the couple first got together. They appeared to fall in love at first sight as they both attended the same collegiate basketball games.
