The Milwaukee Bucks selected Nwora with the 45th overall choice in the 2020 NBA Draft. The Bucks announced the signing of Nwora on November 24, 2020. For the start of the NBA G League season, he was assigned to the Salt Lake City Stars, and he made his debut on February 10, 2021. He was recalled from the Stars three days later due to an ankle issue. Nwora was a member of the Bucks team that won the NBA Finals in 2021.
